Present day roll call
Re: Present day roll call
Deltamudd. I was thinking the same thing. We’ve had about 50 ppl respond to this thread . I was thinking that we could just start with the 50 ppl who have responded to the roll cAll . Let’s say next week I will present a story and then the week after that who ever responded second it will be there week to present a story about one of their favorite duck hunts. And so on and so on . Thoughts?

Still present at least every day or two. I've never met anyone on here, but definitely value most opinions and enjoy all stories and experiences shared on this site. The FB site seems just too trendy to me. Folks I've personally known for years who have prolly never heard of this site seem to act like charter members on FB. But, I don't lurk on FB near as much as I do on here, so this feels like home.

Red eye get her to Lantrip before he comes down south to hunt in the marsh with me. I think we hunted over it last year or the year before, I can’t remember anymore. Anyway good to see everybody still lurking around this place. Just kind of nice to not have every swinging diock on Facebook around to comment on everything.

I unfollowed the Facebook site. It was clogging up my news feed with all of the outfitter reports and a bunch of other crap. It still that way?

Pretty much. They dogged on croc's for a couple weeks, now everybody is throwing decoys in shopping mall fountains and acting like they are hunting in them. Don't forget the pro-staffer audition videos.DoublePslayer wrote:Pretty much. People are auditioning for pro-staff potions for a FB page. Not real sure how that works.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Just remember, this is the retro site. What’s old is new again.

Re: Present day roll call
Only good thing I see about the facebook group is that it's somewhat difficult to search and it doesn't pop up in a google search. So if someone Google searches crocs ducksouth facebook, the 72 million posts dont show up (at least they didnt for this redneck). But if I search "ducksouth crocs", a post from 2007 pops right up. Rocky, is there any way to get blacklisted by Google so that Ducksouth doesn't show up in the searches? I think that'd make people more relaxed and help the flow of posts, if folks knew it'd be for DS member eyes only. Just a thought. Carry on with the roll call.

Not officially dead, but the last non-classified post was nearly a month ago, so it's essentially dead.bigwater wrote:Good to see everyone. I was unAware that alducks.com had died..

Still here. Hard to believe I have been reading this page since 99 or 2000 or whenever it got started. I hope it gets active again.
