I actually agree with Benny on the marijuana legislation. I don’t think it should be should remain classified as a schedule 1, totally illegal for medical or other purposes. I think it should be reclassified or even completely legalized recreationally.

I have seen some statistics that show in states where it’s either totally legal or medically available a significant decrease in the number of opioids prescription written for pain.

The problem is big Pharma and it stranglehold over the drug industry controlling through lobbyist what our legislators will likely ever do.

Big Pharma can’t make money if people are allowed to take a plant and process it themselves and consume it themselves for pain.

This is a problem.

I just don’t feel like it’s my place to tell someone what they can do with their body anymore than I want someone telling me how many bullets I can put in a magazine at one time.

I don’t want to control someone else’s life.

Don’t like the way we handle marijuana in this country? Well I’ve got some good news! There’s a 10th Amendment for that too! Return to the founders’ constitution and do not depart from it. The federal government is not holding to their end of the signed contract under which we the people CONSENT to be governed and we are allowing them to get away with it through apathy and “progressive” ideology that actually teaches the constitution is a living document and says whatever the left says it does, or that it is an outdated document written by white slave owners and should therefore be completely disregarded and tossed into the trash heap
