I’m using voice to text, and I can’t catch all these stupid little errors it makes and it drives me crazy. I apologize for the grammar and misspellings

A friend of mine just pulled the boards on a pipe that was holding some water on a duck hole that they want to manage for moist soil grasses today. Most all of the water ran out but it was very muddy with a patch of water here and there.

We spotted some hogs and I went after them, five of them did not go home tonight.

What's your record for most killed in one sneak? 5 is pretty darn good.

Twelve when I was shooting with a buddy. And my personal best by myself was nine

Nine - https://youtu.be/F2onKh2rshc

Twelve - https://youtu.be/K7Dm34T3nhQ

The nine was especially satisfying becase it was the first year I had my new thermal scope and this particular field saw me visit it at least eight or nine times when the corn was first planted and I never saw anything.

The second night after harvest I go to the field to check it and two hogs ran cross the top of the levee right in front of me. No sooner had I pulled in, I spotted a group of eleven come down the levee into the field about six hundred yards away......

I spent about 30 minutes approaching them. At the time I really didn’t know how much noise you could get away with and it was dry and there was knee high stubble which made for a very loud approach if you weren’t careful.

I get all the way over there and realize there are also two deer standing there looking at me, and I just knew they were going to run off snorting right through the middle of the group messing up the whole event. They remained quiet and politely left the field away from the hogs........

What was the distance between you and the closest deer in the 1st video?
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

I’m not really sure. Less than 50 yards?

I remember counting steps to where the first ones were shot but don’t remember the number anymore. Probably 60 yards?

Went with a buddy again to the same moist soil duck hole as the other day. Saw about 8 or 9 that were a couple hundred yards farther away than the ones last time.

I got four of them.

Saw two hogs in a peanut field and tried to get closer for a possible double.

I don’t know what went wrong but one of them got out of dodge while I was approaching. Luckily he left without sounding the alarm.

Shot this one at close range with my 9mm rifle. Saw him dart across the turn row into the woods.

Actually rolled off the front page since I posted here last time. Nice job fellows!

I’ve got a little catching up to do, As of last night I’ve made it to hundred dead hogs since February. Personal best for me in a year.

Here’s some highlights from along the way.
