Re: Remembering Hardin
Thanks duckmen,
I wish I would have done more. I felt like I new there was trouble and didn't spend enough time with Hardin.
Ugh...

I feel the same way Wildfowler.
He was such a nice guy. I've got a bunch of his old photos. Very talented photographer Gulf coast send me Patrick's #, would like to get them to him and Maggie.

Re: Remembering Hardin
Good to reflect on Hardin and the others who have passed on. Thanks for bringing it to the top, Dan.

Re: Remembering Hardin
It's weird/amazing how things come full circle. Hardin was the first one of the "guys" I met from this site as a more than nieve 13 year old kid, and now I work for the organization he so passionately supported.
I'd like to think he'd smile down on how that turned out. I've never forgotten it.

Champ
I remember that first dw committee.
Hardin was chairman, wildfowler, myself and several others were involved. Held at the Ms Sports Hall of Fame. Great turnout. Hardin did a great job. I remember emailing Rob Olsen the former head of DW when Hardin died. He had nothing but praise for him as a man and for his support of DW. Unfortunately he was loved by many more people than he knew.

Re: Remembering Hardin
Met him briefly at MeanMallard one day. He said he enjoyed laughing at my stuff. He encouraged me to support DW; only thing is I been running DW tag since then. He was the copy/paste king with duck stuff everyday. There was a picture that I lost of him behind a grassed Finisher with a limit. Maybe GC still has it? Back when everybody was buying layout blinds. This search goes only back to '05.

Re: Remembering Hardin
Patrick and Maggie are both in Arkansas. Patrick is going back to school for wildlife biology, and Maggie is doing well. They both appreciated Harden being mentioned on the "History of MSDucks" episode of Rocky's podcast.
