Public Land Question

I was a member here years ago. Anyway, since Katrina I moved away from Mississippi and haven’t duck hunted in years. I have a couple general questions about a specific WMA and don’t know who I can ask. I called the state number for it but no return call.

Questions I have are water and pressure (since it sounds like times have changed when i last hunted there). If someone is willing, please PM me so I can ask questions. If not(and I hope I am not violating rules) I understand

That’s what I heard and am fearful of. We(me and two buddies from work) are making a trip over there late January. Hopefully we can enjoy it. Where I used to hunt(must have been around 2002ish) I never saw another hunter

Stay home, lay up with woman, shoot deer, repeat. Its as dry as GH22's love life.

Well we are gonna enjoy our time with some brews, good eats, etc. hopefully some ducks will be the icing on the cake

Well, we found a few holes and got on some ducks. Had a few mallards working but only got a shot at one. Killed a couple of gadwall and lots of wood ducks(2 were banded). Thanks for all the advice. I think the weather hit just right.
