Bumping.
Got run off the road coming back from the Avery Wood landing last week by a white Silverado with a Cotton front license plate going about 55 fishtailing around the corner before you reach the blacktop. Filled to the brim with poo faced fratstars. It was 1 pm so the only explanation I can think of for such driving is they forgot their Yeti full of woodies at the ramp. If I hadn't been paying attention, there may have been 5 new listings in the back of the newspaper this week; takes a long time for the paramedics to make it out here.
Took me a few minutes to get unstuck and back on the gravel, but they never turned around to apologize or help pull me out. Fratstars indeed.

That sucks, but is unfortunately typical.NyssaAquatica wrote:Took me a few minutes to get unstuck and back on the gravel, but they never turned around to apologize or help pull me out. Fratstars indeed.

Re: Fratstar or not?
I figured it must have been Novacaine, Trip, Gator & ole Don Miller for sure. Well that or the el camino crew upgraded their wheels.
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

Re: Fratstar or not?
I inherited a 2xl bottomland Columbia widgeon parka in 94. Still got it.
Got an XL Columbia quad parka and Omnitek bibs in treestand from the camouflage shop in north park for $379 for my birthday in 97. Still got it. (Use shell without the liner as a rain jacket. Barely zips over my big belly)
Got a 3xl Columbia Quad parka in breakup on a jacket trade with my cousin year before last.
Still tote the 870 I bought from Walmart in 93. (It's been birdsong t-coated)
Got an 10-12 yr old pair of rocky waders

Re: Fratstar or not?

How you keep waders for twelve years? Mine leak usually after a couple of years. Congrats. You bought the best pair of waders ever made.

If you talking about the waders you got from me, they're 17 years old.
And, Columbia? Are you sure....?

Correction. I have waders that are 17 years old.
I doubled checked, the jackets are Columbia.
Re: Fratstar or not?
There is an age where a man can no longer be considered a frat star because he is too old and fat. I’m well past it.
No, i don't want to know you ---- teul

Re: Fratstar or not?
The last 2 years Rocky made waders in the early 2000s, those waders were bullet proof. I worm mine for about 7 or 8 years. I have been trading out waders ever few years since.gps4 wrote:Got an 10-12 yr old pair of rocky waders
