Vicksburg place to stay 2/17 - 2/18

Guys I am running my pup in the West MS HRC hunt test at Mahanna on 2/17 -18. They suggest the Battelfield Inn (Motel 6), which I don't really have a problem with. But the wife and kid are going too. Is it still an ok place to stay?
Are there any suggestions on other places that are dog friendly and I am not going to have my truck stolen?

I guess the Marriott is out since Levi morgan had everything stolen out of his truck. I am sure his truck had a Matthews wrap or something advertising that his truck was loaded with stuff but still. Awful brave. Makes trainers etc second guess leaving dogs in kennels if they ever figure out what those dogs are worth. I would be a nervous wreck!!!

We have stayed in TBI several times for HT's. Not plush, but never feared for me or mine's lives.

Will the dog stay in the room. I’m not sure what the hotel policies are but there is a cluster of hotels near the outlet mall. Holiday inn express, courtyard one or two others. That would be my preference. You could try one of the bed and breakfast also. Baer house, Anchuca or cedar grove. There’s also a holiday inn on the frontage road next to el sombrero.

LaQuinta (the hotel, not the girl working at McDonalds) out by the outlet mall. They allow dogs, good area, close to 61N.

Pup earned his HR title on Sunday. And Rick (msbigdawg1234) took great pleasure is getting my title bath organized.
