Finally here, but for how long?

After not seeing any ducks to speak of over the past week, we decided to do some deer hunting this morning. Wouldn't you know it, the one morning we don't duck hunt...well you know the rest. Ducks by the thousands pouring in. Went to check it out this afternoon and saw the same thing. Should be good in the morning, but how long do you think these birds will stay around with the temp rising into the mid 60's? By the way, the area is in the SOUTHERN most part of the delta. [img]images/smiles/icon_sad.gif[/img] Hell, at this point, if I could get to that many ducks, the last thing I'd be frettin' 'bout is how long they gonna be there.......you go wrinkle their nuptial plumage while they're there, for God's sake! i spent thursday thru sunday at the shack with only a few woodies... monday morn the bottom was full of ducks and my first limit of the year was quick... Tuesday morn was a hole of ice and just a few lost ducks....Easy Come, Easy Go....
