Re: I55 north of Grenada
My daughter was headed back to MSU and passed through when it was going down..........said big guns out, popo tacked up so she stepped on the gas to get through.
She called me and asked me to find out what was going on cause it looked serious.
Son and inlaw left 15 minutes later and it took them 5 1/2 hours to get from Hernando to Gwood. They got caught in the endless line of backed up traffic.
Sounds like sad situation.

Ask him if they had a detour set up or anything? You can get off I55 at the 220 exit and cut over tho highway 51 in a couple of minutes. Then pick it back up again at exit 208, or in Grenada from Hwy 8. I started to ride to the interstate when i saw this yesterday, but figured there would be a ton of cars coming through there, and didn't want to get mixed up in it.novacaine wrote: Son and inlaw left 15 minutes later and it took them 5 1/2 hours to get from Hernando to Gwood.
