Re: Ole Miss NOA
Ole Miss is a state run institution. With your logic, they should be paying the tax payers back for the time, money, and resources spent on this boondoogle, correct? They say its cost "them" $150million..."them" is a state run institution, am I right?
Truth is they have already admitted to 17 or so Class 1 violations, between 3 different sports. This stuff with Leo Lewis is small fries. Talk about people losing their jobs? Barney Farrah is a known rouge renegade recruiter in the SEC, its about time he was fired for his antics.
On another note, I wonder if they will try to move the trial(if there is one) to a neutral location. Somewhere like Waynesboro?

Re: Ole Miss NOA
Fact is nobody on this board can PROVE he was lying, just cause OM response claims he was, doesn't mean he was... They can only show there is doubt. Also Nobody can PROVE he wasn't lying. Everything that changed hands or didn't change hands was either cash or untraceable merchandise. It's not like it's a check stub to be run down or a receipt for a transaction that doesn't exist. My guess is that Rebel Rags probably did hook a few players up here and there.... Hell, if I was in the sports merchandising business and a well known recruit or player came in my store, I would probably slide them a t shirt or a logo polo, especially if I thought it would help the program, what true fan wouldn't. Personally I don't really care if they did or not... It's their business and if they want to do it it's not really my or the NCAA's business. I mean, do tshirts and such really get a recruit to come to a school?
Now the cash trading hands? Hell who knows.... There is so many different stories going on out there it's hard to say what's true anymore. My guess is there are only a few people (less than 10) who know for a FACT exactly what happened. I would say 10 of those 10 will lie about what happened one way or the other, unless it can be proven without a shadow of a doubt that they can't, and then 9/10 of them still will.

Is Jackie's Wayne's lawsuit against the NCAA and the rebel booster "mrs zena" still ongoing
"Ya ever work beef Billy?"
Re: Ole Miss NOA
It is. 12 years later. Surely everyone sees why that is pertinent to this week's news. These things move so slow that, before they come to an impactful closure, it almost doesn't even matter anymore. Like I said, it's all posturing, in my opinion.

Ole Miss is circling the drain.
Re: Ole Miss NOA
Dear Ole Miss, please don't fire Freeze and Bjork now! It's gonna be fun seeing what these clowns do next!
Re: Ole Miss NOA
IHL will be the ones having to any firing that goes on at this point. Everybody is chained to the boat.

Good to know he learned a thing or two about freedom of information requests.

Re: Ole Miss NOA
Pretty sure Mullen orchestrated this new lawsuit.
Re: Ole Miss NOA
Lol. I wish.
He does have some indirect involvement, however. Mullen pushed them "all in," without a doubt, with the TSUN quips, billboards, etc. And here we stand 4 years later.
