To help you some, I have trained with Jeff Saunders. You and I met the first time at the drop zone when you were with Jeff. Do you still use the BumperBoy? I have been looking at them to use and I remember that you had several. Jeff used the Max5000.

IF I HAD IT TO DO OVER AGAIN I WOULD
GO WITH THE MAX, IT COST DOUBLE THE $$$$, BUT
ITS WELL WORTH IT. MAX IS SIMPLY SO MUCH MORE SIMPLE TO OPERATE PLUS YOU GET 5 BUMPERS
B4 HAVING TO RELOAD. WHEN THE TEMP GETS DOWN
TO , SAY BELOW 45 OR 40 , ONE OF MY BUMPER BOYS LOCKS UP ON ME, IVE CALLED THE
PLACE AND THEY SIMPLY SAY IT SHOULDNT BE DOING THAT.YOUVE GOT TO ACTULLY PROGRAM THE
TRANSMITTER TO FIRE THE REMOTE LAUNCHER,IF
YOU DONT DO IT RIGHT, YOU SCREW UP THE WHOLE
DEAL.
WITH THE MAX , YOU SIMPLY TURN IT ON,PRESS A BUTTON, AND BOOM.IT'S BY FAR THE BEST THING
TO COME ALONG IN QUITE SOME TIME.
BUT DONT GET ME WRONG, YOU NEVER WILL BE ABLE TO REPLACE A PERSON,THROWING A DEAD DUCK.

Glenn got stuck? In public? Oh please share the story.... Funny how I straf one decoy, and its a matter of public record within hours, yet a truck sticking goes to the wayside.... travis

The only thing I hate about spending that kind of money on a Max 5000, it won't throw a duck.

Where as the Training group and Strong can provide that. The only draw back is having to reload the station more often.

I ran into a former employer of mine at the Master National this past year. His name is Jim Swan from Sanger, TX.

He had a demo of launcher that would throw everything. Hold up to 6-8 ducks, dummies, whatever you wanted to load in there. It would throw a duck at least 35 yds maybe farther with a very good arc. Automated sound attached to it as well.

This thing cost retail $3500.00. There hoping to get in on the market soon. I figured within a year they would start marketing them.

He also dicussed great opportunities for those who might be interested in trying to market this product as well.

Just thought you guys might be interested.

$3500 is stiff for a guy with just a couple of dogs. The idea of being able to throw 6 ducks before reloading is enticing but the cost is much too prohibitive for the average Joe. The BunperBoy will throw Dokkens with wings attached. The Max only throws those plastic bunpers and only throws them the same direction.
Training groups are convenient on weekends but during the week it is difficult to get a group together to train.

Itd have to be HUGE. Need a hitch attached to it so you could pull it round on a 4 tire!

Thinking 10 grand to throw a triple would be tough. You could buy sum maxxes, and pay a ton of help to load strong arms for the money.

Seems to me, ducks aint exaclty sized nuff to propel them outta a tube (like a max fires them). And ideal like that would require the same size ducks, and dat aint gonna happen. And anything that had mulitple pounchs, like a strong arm, would be huge. So you'd need a totally different way to propel a duckie.

Whut pisses me off is the cheesy ass electronics that fire wingers. I can buy my kid a remote control car for 10 bucks, or a kick ass one for 50. How come the electronics that fire a winger cost so much? Nothing really hi tech there, same technology been around for years. A digital camera is now 1/3 the cost of a tt box, that dont make any sense. Ought to be able to buy electronice for 50 bucks, and key themselves to your transmitter in 2 minutes. I can buy a remote for 10 bucks that keys itself to my tv, stero, and vcr with the push of a button. travis
