Ag Pilot

Hunted in NW Quitman County Friday and Saturday. We had ag pilot flying same route very close to our property lines most of afternoon Friday and all morning Saturday, flaring quite a few ducks in the process. The only reasons we could come up with were 1) Doing some sort of training/certification with students 2) Flying with a game warden 3) Planting a late crop of winter wheat. Does anyone have any thought or insight as to what was going on?

Most likely was spraying fall burndown preemerge, could have been planting wheat but not real likely.

Yes. There is one a few miles to the west of us. Still found it unusual for plane to be up this time of year.

:Fall burndown is all it is. a lot of going out around me before the rain. my buddies included but everytime see a plane "gamewarden" Must be some guilty consciences :D :D

Burndown or potash.

They don't fly back and forth all day just for kicks. Costs too much to crank them up.
