Ruth Bader Ginsburg - “I can’t imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president… Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand,” she told The New York Times.
Now would be an excellent time to make good on that comment. There's a host of celebrities who were officially quoted as having intentions to immigrate from the USA if Trump were elected. Granted, he's not the guy I would have picked from the get-go of the primaries, but I certainly expect them to make good on their word. C'mon now, get gone!

RBG is a sharp lady. I don't agree with everything she says, but it would be a shame for her to leave just because Trump won. Regardless of who you voted for, it is your civic duty to support your president.

I don't think we will miss her at all.NyssaAquatica wrote: RBG is a sharp lady. I don't agree with everything she says, but it would be a shame for her to leave just because Trump won. Regardless of who you voted for, it is your civic duty to support your president.

Make no mistake, I support President Donald J Trump. Judging by her comments, I'm not sure the "sharp" RBG holds that same point of view, in which case I would encourage her to move on to her retirement home in New Zealand.NyssaAquatica wrote:Smoke68 wrote:Ruth Bader Ginsburg - “I can’t imagine what the country would be with Donald Trump as our president… Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand,” she told The New York Times.

She DOES realize, doesn't she, that if she leaves; Then, he will have to appoint yet another Justice to the Supreme Court? She might want to think about that a little bit.

Nobody owes you anything.

The only way she's leaving now is on a stretcher.

I have a feeling she's going to do everything she can to keep her seat to avoid giving Trump another Supreme Court appointment. They may even have to prop her up at hearings.

"Sharp lady"??
She was one of the dissenters in the Heller opinion. Said 2nd amendment did not include an individual right to bear arms. Also said 2nd amendment, unlike all other bill of rights, does not apply to states, but only to federal government. If Heller dissenting opinion ever became majority opinion, we'd have gun states and non-gun states, including non-gun cities.
Sharp as a butter knife.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if she left yesterday. Although I would hate for her to go to NZ. It is too pretty of a place to put garbage in.
