Re: Hotel Credit Cards.....
I have an IHG credit card I use only on travel. IHG has a lot of Hotel brands, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Staybridge, etc.. Only thing I don't like about it is you earn a lot of points, but a room costs so many points it takes a while before you get a few free nights and then you end up draining your points.

I have the Hilton Honors Reserve and the Marriott Rewards. Marriott has a better deal going on right now. I use them both though. Went and stayed at the Hilton in Sandestin for a solid week last year. Would have cost me 3k if I had paid out of my pocket.

I went to London, Paris, Venice (IT), Florence (IT), and Rome (IT) for two weeks for free using airline and hotel points. In my opinion, the key is CHOOSING YOUR DESTINATION FIRST then matching the credit cards to get to that place. If you need any assistance or have detailed questions, PM me (and post on this thread that you sent a PM)jkb87 wrote:Question.... Re: Hotel Credit Cards.....
i prefer the marriot rewards card, you can sign up for thier rewards credit card, but you can also have a rewards number for just reservations. As long as you use the rewards reservation number when making your reservations you get points there. Then when you use the cc to pay for the room you get another set of points. Usually they have offers where you discounts on thier destinations in the members area. They do have a annual fee, but they also give you a free room up to a 5 star hotel, that alone is worth the annual fee.
PM your email address and i can send your thier invitaion link and gives you a extra 10000 points.

I have the same thing. You can redeem your points for all types of items and gift cards. I got a couple of 100.00 bass pro gift cards with my points traveling and staying at their hotels. Didn't know if you knew that or not.420 racin wrote:I have an IHG credit card I use only on travel. IHG has a lot of Hotel brands, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Staybridge, etc..
