i'm exploring options to prevent rain water from ponding in a backyard. i'm familiar with a french drain, but the layout of my house, yard and driveway would make it very expensive and labor intensive to do.
i just came across information about dry wells and wonder whether this woud be an adequate and economical solution.
anyone have experience with installing a drywell?
thanks in advance.
who's installed a dry well?
Re: who's installed a dry well?
Here's some pics of a ton of different configurations....I installed one, somewhat like the pic of the one that uses just a sump hole and a small gasoline-powered pump, to drain a small swampy duck hole, so I could plant it....worked great.
