2016 DRAGON BOAT REGATTA

Looking forward to this event!

I've heard about it for several years, but this will be my first time participating.
Looks like a good time!

I've participated in the dragon boat races in Alabama several times. The key is "light" people who can synchronize!

i just did the one in memphis this past weekend. i was part of our corporate team made up of middle-age office workers.

it was fun, but we had our butts handed to us by a bunch of 20 something year old , hipster looking, man-hair-bun wearing, overly long beard, crossfit guys.. the girls on their team looked like they could kick most men's butts.

overall we came in 10th out of 26 teams.. not bad for a bunch of out of shape middle-age folks.

like rowltide says, its all about synchronization & weight/strength combination

We are doing one this weekend. My goal is loose quick, and drink brrrrr earlier. :D
