I have a friend with a draw to Noxubee on the 12th. Can anyone give a current report?

We hunted Noxubee last Sat and it was pretty quiet. They killed a few wood ducks right at daylight then no birds at all up in the morning. According to their record board there have been very few big ducks killed out there all year. Lots of hunters came out with no birds at all not even a woodie. If I had another place to hunt I believe I would try it, if not you might kill a woodie or two at Noxubee. Good Luck

Yea, RL, I hunted it twice this year. It's not happening, gauranteed wood duck for the kids to shoot though.

RL, call the refuge office at 323-5548 for a report. Noxubee is a beautiful place and well worth the trip just to see some of the sights. If you've never been there, it'll be an experience you and Andy will remember, whether ya'll kill any ducks, or not. 'Beats sittin' at home! Good luck!!
