SEC Baseball
Well, looks like State is in the drivers seat right now for the west and the SEC and Florida for the east at the moment. They have really started playing together, as well as catching some breaks here and there. I think it comes down to A&M and State for the west with LSU as the sleeper. OM is playing very good as well. How do you guys see this one playing out?
work hard, play hard
Re: SEC Baseball
I don't know, but I was pleased that MSU won on Sunday for a change, especially in a series I thought Florida would sweep.
Re: SEC Baseball
Too early to tell...well pleased with MSU so far...always one team that gets super hot second half so got to wait to see who that will be...was told by UM baseball followers that South Carolina looked great at everything...
Are we gonna get wet?

Still very early and baseball is a streaky sport. Let's see who gets hot towards the end of the season.

This weekend went to hell in a handbasket really quick.
Re: SEC Baseball
Yeah, but I wouldn't say State fell apart to lose it. If A&M were able to maintain that level of play all the time, they would be all but unbeatable. A&M was at the top of their game. State played well but not outstanding. Results were what they were.Greenhead22 wrote:This weekend went to hell in a handbasket really quick.

A&M played the best 3 ball games they have played all year and MSU played average ball. Similar to what MSU did at Florida last week. If A&M plays that every game for the rest of the season, they will win the NC walking away. They will cool off. If figure the SEC will get 3 SR host spots, at best. Whoever wins this weekend against LSU will get the 3rd. UF and A&M have the first 2 wrapped up.

Went to the sat game and I will tip my hat to the Aggies. They flat out hit the ball. I noticed the lowest batting average in their lineup was .308..
They had one guy in their lineup who had a .500
On base percentage..
