Tire slime

Has anybody used the slime stuff for atv tires. Have a slow leak on a tire on a gator utv. I know some of the fix a flat is bad for car tires was wondering up the slime

I wouldn't use it to try to make a permanent repair. It is pretty good for emergencies, but I wouldn't count on it.

I put it in all my ATV tires as kind of a preventative thing. Works pretty good on most leaks.

It's not supposed to hurt your tires or rims.

Its standard operating procedure for me...............all tires get slime. It gets all the slow leaks that accumulate from running in
stalks. I run about 1000 to 1500 miles a year while surveying in fields and ponds.

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and pulled it of and had it patched. Also bought s can of slime to keep on hand in case of emergency

Go ahead and buy the gallon jug with pump attached..........do them all. Its worth it for prevention.

tires on my old lawn mower leaked and would have to air them up once or twice a month. I put slime in all of them and worked like a charm. Didn't air them up for almost 2 years after.

Get the Gallon Jug, I would not put it in my everyday driver tires unless it was a necessity but it goes in every ATV, lawn mower, tractor tire, ect. that gets a leak and it works like a champ.

Yup......we do this at our camp. I was constantly getting on my ranger and having a low tire. They were all leaking between tire and rim. Everyone was using the Gallon jug of slime......so I bought one and put it in each tire. I haven't had a leak since (2 years).

When you put it in make sure to go ahead and drive it so that it spreads out then and hits all the crooks and crannies.

Went ahead a got a gallon and put in all tires. If this stuff works like y'all say it does I won't be mad about spending the money on it. I used on my mother in laws gator 550 every time see has a flat I have to drive 30 miles to take it off and fix it which never happens when I have nothing to do
