Ranger 800 Crew....something popped underneath....

I've never dogged my Ranger Crew....mainly, just drive the kids around with it....first, I heard a loud click, followed by a loud pop....now, it will not go into either forward or reverse.
Any of you guys got an idea what to look for, or checkout, before I look for a utv mechanic.
I smell a bank loan, looming in the air.

Belt possibly?

have you checked your belt housing?

Take clutch assembly off. Would almost bet it's the clutch

duk most of those have plastic fingers inside clutch and they will fail. If that's the problem around 300 fix
