I know some of you will say you'd rather an F250, but I don't think anyone 20 years ago would guess a pickup would cost the same as one.
You can get a Boxter in the 60-70 range and a Cayman in the range you spoke of. I saw a 2008 911 the other day without every bell and whistle and it was 80K.
