Re: Bold predictions for the upcoming college football seaso
Not sure if I will make it to ten but.....
Alabama loses at least 2, most likely three after the QB round table
OM is really good again, but loses one they shouldn't to keep them out of SECCG
Texas AM defense doesn't improve like people will think
Auburn and Georgia play in the SECCG
MSU plays well and competitive but can only ride Dak so long, he is injured and misses parts (not all) of at least 2 games
Arkansas finishes in the top three in West
TCU doesn't finish as high as they did last year
Neither OSU QB wins heisman
FL finishes almost last in the east, just above Vandy
Due to weak schedule, ND makes the playoff and gets pounded like hell in round 1 forcing them to make a conference alliance to have a chance at ever making it again.

Instead of OSU losing, now I think Braxton Miller wins the Heisman..if not Miller one of the offensive players at OSU...they are good and the schedule is gonna make them look like best team of modern era of college football.

Re: Bold predictions for the upcoming college football seaso
Miller is an absolute freak of an athlete. Did not really care before if he transferred to Bama but my feelings have changed on that. To me picking anybody to win the SEC west is a bold prediction but I will go with Auburn. I think Ole Miss and Bama have legitimate shots also, followed by every other west team. Right now those look like the best 3 to me. Not sold on A&M yet but they could be dangerous.

Re: Bold predictions for the upcoming college football seaso
I would not be surprised to see him leave at any point. He is getting up there in age and that is a stressful job. Only reason I see him hanging a round a few years is I don't think he is willing to start over at this age and he seems like the type that would want to keep coaching a while. I think the wife will have a lot to say about when he retires. She has heavily influenced his career decisions. I would not say the wheels are starting to fall off. They made the playoffs last year and have an extremely young offense this year. Can't be the best team in the country every year no matter how good you are.

From Heisman hopeful to not seeing the field in your home conference opener ... Embarrassing.

He saw the field, but embarrassing none the less.

1. MS State wins 5 games.
2. After passing through Baton Rouge, I burn all my suits because no dry cleaner can get the smell out.
3. Gay Marriage is legalized in all 50 States, congratulations Ole Miss fans.
4. After OM beats Bama, some redneck "accidentally" "RammerJammers" his sister and their daughter becomes a stripper over at Auburn to offset her daddy issues.
5. Missouri incorporates the first flushing toilets in Columbia. PSA's begin the following week as nobody has ever seen one.
6. Arkansas fans complain nobody gives a sh it about them....again.
7. Ole Miss fans switch official attire from khakis to skinny britches, pink shirts remain...
8. No less than 63 trailer park arson incidents are reported after Alabama home games.
9. No less then 6,379 domestic disputes are reported after Alabama home games.
10. Ole Miss changes mascot...again....to the Land Sharts after an LSU victory. Corn dogs begin sprouting in the Univ's dope field.

Well, I missed 6/10, made good so far on the other four. However, the six I missed were way off.... The four I got I barely got.hillhunter wrote:Not sure if I will make it to ten but.....
