LED light for UTV suggestions
Need to upgrade the lighting on my rhino before the season gets here. I know several of y'all bought light bars off of amazon a year or so ago, and I was wondering how they were holding up and which ones y'all would suggest and where to mount it?
Re: LED light for UTV suggestions
I bought a couple of the cheaper ones 20" from Amazon and I'm happy with them but I do have a couple of bulbs that are out. I think I paid $59 for them. Condensation does get inside them tho. I bought a set of the rigid duallys earlier this year and they are very good. They were $159 for the pair I think.

I have Cree LED pods on my pickup and a Cree LED 20" light bar on my 4-wheeler. Both were purchased of amazon at a very good price. They are extremely bright, easy to install, and seem to be holding up well. I have had them around 6 months. You will need to purchase a wiring kit separately (also sold on amazon).

When you search for them, add the term IP69. IP is "ingress protection" and 6 is for dust proof, 9 is for the liquid ingress protection of "Powerful high temperature water jets" .
In other words, IP68 is "waterproof" for submersion up to a meter. IP69 is way more water tight.

Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Not to hi-jack the thread, but I want to put one on my golf cart. Can I use the wires and switch that my lights are currently on?

Re: LED light for UTV suggestions
I put this one on my war eagle before alligator season opened...We ran it 10 nights in a row anywhere from 6-12 hours each night and it worked great. Only time will tell how durable the light is.
But for 65 bucks... if it craps out tomorrow I will order a new one and mount it where the old one was mounted.

Been thinking about doing the same with my cart. I have a 48v Club Car... so if you do this in the near future, let me know what route you went.JLT wrote:Not to hi-jack the thread, but I want to put one on my golf cart. Can I use the wires and switch that my lights are currently on?

I'm just happy to see that you secured the light bar to the boat! One Shot Payne wrote:I put this one on my war eagle before alligator season opened...We ran it 10 nights in a row anywhere from 6-12 hours each night and it worked great. Only time will tell how durable the light is.

Re: LED light for UTV suggestions
There are a ton of sellers on Amazon that carry the Cree lights. Just find one that has a 4-5 star rating and has a competitive price. When you select an item, scroll down on the page and it will have a "buyers usually purchase these with this item" and that is how you will find your wiring harness.

I had to buy a new battery charger and noticed light sets for various golf carts on their website...Deadeye wrote:Been thinking about doing the same with my cart. www.golfcartgarage.com Think it is more than just add the on lights but they are specific for each type of cart.
