I think the Millennium loc on's are hard to beat. Light weight, easy to install, and comfortable to sit in.

+1...Not sure how much you would want to do this but you can buy one of the M-100 model loc ons and multiple M-102 "receiving blocks" to put up in a few different spots. Could carry your stand with you to whichever block you want to hunt. Just slides right in pretty easy. Can buy a couple of 20' or so sets of sticks for pretty cheap these days. You won't find a more comfortable seat on a loc on than these.blgros1 wrote:I think the Millennium loc on's are hard to beat. Light weight, easy to install, and comfortable to sit in.

This right here. Almost like sitting in your recliner in your living room. By far the most comfortable stand I've ever sat in, not counting a computer chair in a box blind.blgros1 wrote:I think the Millennium loc on's are hard to beat. Light weight, easy to install, and comfortable to sit in.

Millenium is all we use at our club. I bet we have 200 set up. We get different sticks though.....Millenium will work but there are better sticks out there.

The M100 and the M200 are awfully nice. I can't imagine the M1000. Does it have a potty?Greenhead329 wrote:Just ordered the m1000 ...can't wait until it gets here

Millennium: Put some anti-slip tape on the floor of the stand. Unless things have changed since I bought mine several years back, you'll need it.

Re: Lock on tree stand recommendations?
The older model is the one you are thinking of that needs some grip because the platform is made of 1-2" thick tubes or "strips". Think the newer models have expanded metal platforms.
