EMERGENCY+A5 BROWNING+METRO AREA

I'm new to the Jackson area and need some Duck South help in a bad way. I was changing to the long barrel on my old A5 for the upcoming dove season and I really messed up my baby. I thought she was just a little dirty but since I was planning on giving her a bath tomorrow I just kept screwing. Now the OG plug and ring is sideways. This was my granddaddy's go to duck gun and then mine. I only use it now for dove hunts. Any gunsmith's y'all know that work on A5's? Need some real help here guys, got invited to a hunt down here and showing up with my old Nova would just scare the $#!+ outta these Madison boys. Shooting all their doves with a $200 shotgun and no Patagonia flat bill or Yeti cooler would flock their world...




This is what's hung up. Can I just bang that down with a hammer??

Swanns on briarwood might have one of those laying around. If not, ask them to call billy tierce in Utica. May have to drive but between the two, I bet they have one laying around.

Suck it up buttercup!!! Do it just like the man that owned that gun before you would do.....get some tools and get that chiit out of there?
channel lock pliers and some needle nose vice grips should get you started.

Ha! Thanks Lodi. Got to the shop this am and it wasn't anything a punch and a hammer couldn't fix.
