Places to stay in Natchez
So i have a wedding to go to in Natchez in a few weeks and was wondering where i could stay and it not be a complete dump, but also not dump the bank account either. Thanks in advance.

Bowie's Tavern - owned by Dunleith Plantation -It is on the river over Bowie's Tavern (the bar). Its nice and about 125 a night. Great view of the river. I actually lived there for 3 months. I loved it.

I've stayed there several times. It is. Nice beds, good shower, free breakfast. Nothing spectacular but it got the job done.jdbuckshot wrote:I hear the La Quinta Inn is nice.....

I have lived in the Wensel House Bed and Breakfast for months at a time, over 20 years. It is a nice place, run by nice folks, at a good rate with a killer breakfast. Its next door to Fat Mama's Tamales. Ron and Mimi Miller, who own/run the place, also run the Historic Natchez Foundation, so they can answer ANY question that you have about the area. Just google "Wensel House Natchez."
So many ducks, so little time....
