What knife are you guys running? Looking for a new blade

Case XX I either tote or carry one at all times, their not the running kind of knives

I carry a bench made mini griptilian mostly. I would get something with good metal like the 154cm or s30v

i bought a spyderco salt 1, because h1 steel has proven to not rust at all in any conditions, but probably not nearly as big a factor for you. I jumped in at a rip in 2,500 ft of water a month ago with it in my pocket, shot a few fish, never rinsed it, through it in my offshore bag and pulled it out yesterday to cut some AJ leaders while we were pounded a limit of huge bottom fish, and you could never tell it had been doused in ocean strength salt water unrinsed for a month. I need a partially serrated blade, because I do manly stuff regularly, you probably need something with a built in nail file.

That said if you just want something pretty, you should get a Williams knife co may skinner.

+1 on this. I typically carry one of these on the weekends. I've used it for everything from cleaning ducks, to prying loose jammed shells, to putting together projects, etc. I carry another combination knife during the week, just because it has a nicer look to it and has a couple of small (micro-type) screwdrivers with it.
