New Duck Blind
Time to upgrade around these parts. Hunted out of a pontoon last 3 years, and decided we need a blind. So this summer while everyone is out practicing salt life, river life, yak life, and whatever else. I'm trying to earn my hardcore waterfowler sticker / badge, but I really don't need any stinking badges. I know this is something you flat land people don't do, so here is the start. Also all them guys that want to hunt won't answer their phone we you want to set light poles and it's 117 heat index.

It's going to be bigger than we normally build. This one will be 36 x 24
Re: New Duck Blind
I finished one off a few years ago by myself. Had to build it while in a riverhawk. Walls and roof and such. It was a logistical beast.
No, i don't want to know you ---- teul

Re: New Duck Blind
Got quit a bit done this weekend. I was out at the ballgame while the other's pitched in, and got the sub floor done. Ole blind is coming along but we aren't ahead of schedule at all. It frosted 2 weekend of October, and we have another blind that will need its yearly cleaning and brushing. So we have to been done asap or we will be in a pickle.

That dirt looks a little finer than any gumbo mud that I've ever put a duck blind in - makes the digging a little easier for 20+ posts.
