I need DuckSouths opinion on the value.
I have not used this boat but 3 times in 8 years. It's a 2003 Triton 15ft Camo boat (very similar to a War Eagle), front and rear decks, 82 lbs trolling motor with 2 batteries, onboard charger, depth finder, and a 1997 Mariner 40 Magnum (3 cylinder) sitting on a Dixie trailer.
Ballpark, what do you think I could get for it?
THINKING ABOUT SELLING MY BOAT...
Re: THINKING ABOUT SELLING MY BOAT...
I'd like a price and some pics on the motor!
Re: THINKING ABOUT SELLING MY BOAT...
It's a bad dude...but I won't sell it without selling it all.

I had just about the same boat with a 25 mercury and I got 2500 for it 2 years ago. Mine was a Triton 1548 with factory camo job.

I'll let it sit in the yard before I take $2500. You gave it away based on what I've seen today after I posted this.bulldog ducker wrote:I had just about the same boat with a 25 mercury and I got 2500 for it 2 years ago. Mine was a Triton 1548 with factory camo job.
Wife just said something about it sitting there because I use my big boat when I go fishing and I haven't needed it where I hunt now. It's not a $8000 rig by any means but its worth more to me "if" I decided to use it than $2500.
It is a great duck hunting/small lake fishing boat. I did take it Redfishing a couple times and spanked some tails.
It's a heavy, well made welded boat.

Dang roach... Chill a little. I was just letting you know what i sold mine for. I tried for almost 4 months to sell it before I finally took $2500. Yours has a charger and an extra batter and your motor is worth more than mine was as well. Ask 20k if you want I could care less as I am not in the market. I just answered the question you asked since I had the same triton hull.

Re: THINKING ABOUT SELLING MY BOAT...
I think $2,500 plus the things yours has would be fairly reasonable (I'd expect great shape if since it's been used very little, big trolling motor, bigger outboard...). You never know what someone will pay, but $4,000 would be a good price. Also not seeing pictures makes it tough to say exactly. If it's been in a garage and shows no signs of sun bleaching and your motor is clean as a whistle, you might get $5k. Remember almost no one gets what they think their boat is "worth". I'm sure the motor is fine, but it's not exactly going to attract buyers because of it. If it were a 2 stroke Yamaha, or a good 4 cycle, it might attract more attention. I'd list it for $5k and be happy if someone pays $4k.bulldog ducker wrote:Dang roach... Chill a little. I was just letting you know what i sold mine for. I looked like crazy last summer for a good 16-18' flat bottom. I finally found an 1860 G3 with a Yamaha 50 2 stroke for $6500 that was in great shape. That was a great deal. Fair price was probably more like $8500, but that's why I drove 7 hours all the way to central Missouri to get it. Anything less than 16' is not as attractive to most folks and I saw plenty like yours go for $3k-$4k, but you can get a newer 1650 with a good motor for $5k if you look around a bit.

Any ad with the words 'motor work' gets a click on the X for me -- receipts or not.
Re: THINKING ABOUT SELLING MY BOAT...
I agree that it's probably a $5000 rig. Put it this way, if $5k walked up, it would leave.
Re: THINKING ABOUT SELLING MY BOAT...
$5k all day long...if you want top dollar list it for sale in most of the central and northeast AR Craigslist. It'll sell…I wouldn't buy a motor from AR though.
