End of an era...

Willis is the best linebacker I have ever seen in college. He also seems to be a great man and has arguably been the best MLB in the NFL for quite some time. I sure hope his career is recognized with a Hall of Fame induction in the future.

Re: Patrick Willis Retiring
I think if I were 30 and dealt with the surgeries and injuries he has, and had the money he has (assuming he's managed it wisely)...a retirement at 30 years old would be mighty enticing. I don't think Willis ever really craved the spotlight, so there isn't the celebrity lifestyle to walk away from...

Re: Patrick Willis Retiring
If I had to guess...he has not wasted his money. He seems like a country boy from Nowhere, TN that enjoys and gets contentment from the same things in life that most of this board enjoys. He could work for NFL network or ESPN to supplement his retirement...or go to work endorsing for Primos. Either way, even in "retirement", his money making capabilities far and away outpace most of ours.camlock wrote:I think if I were 30 and dealt with the surgeries and injuries he has, and had the money he has (assuming he's managed it wisely)...a retirement at 30 years old would be mighty enticing. One of the best without a doubt. Never seen anyone play harder. An unknown 2 star goes on to be a NFL future Hall of Famer. Just shows anything can happen.

I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

Not sure he has a media future like other former players...his speech is slightly messed up, he has sort of a lisp...but I'm sure he could find something to do that would be profitable and easy
