New Lurker registering !

Well I've been lurking here for years - even registered and posted few years ago. Usually I just browse over here at lunch from work to see what new bit wisdom Benny has imparted to us. But now I have cable internet at home and decided to jump in the fray. By the way I am also kinda new at messing with digital cameras and I wonder how to make an image the right size for my avatar. I hunt upper Sardis mostly....boy it's been tough the last few years !

Ducksbeus - If I gave you my duckhole location would you take the pain to get there and monitor it for me ? It hasn't had any birds in 5 years ! I would sure like to know when they finally return.

Can anybody advise me how to make a digital pic the correct size for a avatar ? I guess I can go back and look at Bennys old posts. I know he's the avatar wiz.
