How does the insulation/warmth factor play into these since they aren't neoprene? are they still plenty warm with just insulated base layer and a pair of jeans or do you need fleece pants to wear under them?

I wore UA base, wool socks, and jeans under my breathables this weekend. I was fine. Thursday, I added some fleece lined pants as insurance and was good.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
and THAT is a duck hunt.

I've got both and the Banded have a longer inseam and the boots have more insulation and a better fit...first boots I've had that stay on in deep mud...I prefer the Banded product not a fan of their marketing or the owners.....I'd wear any brand that meets my needs of staying warm and dry regardless of who owns or runs the company.........JMO
