A white guy calling an 18 year old white kid swag Kelly? Are you big spoon or little spoon?
As far as Wallace, it was his second worst game. He did complete TD pass in the end zone and got the FG unit into scoring position.
Btw, my feathers aren't ruffled in the least...I do enjoy it though...whoo hoo caught me a Marlin

Re: Go Bo Go
I concede, Bobo beat State....ONLY ONCE....really pathetic that the bears want to cling to that one game to be his claim-to-fame....really sad.
However, it still amazes me how the bear whores completely avoid any mention of their game against Ark....now, THAT was a sheeiitty bear's performance....even worse than the recent bowl fiasco....well, actually, fiasco is too kind of a term for it.

Re: Go Bo Go
I'm like 99.9% sure Bo Wallace was the starting QB in 2012 when Ole Miss beat Miss State 41-24...which makes him 2-1 in 3 years against State. He also beat Bama this year, beat LSU 2 of 3 years, beat Auburn in 2012, Arkansas 2 of 3...just saying he was good for Ole Miss...he was inconsistent and lost some big games and threw plenty of INT's, but he was good for Ole Miss, especially considering the dumpster fire Houston Nutt left at 2-10 and zero capable QB's on the roster. He took a team that was 15-22 in 3 years prior with only 6 conference wins in three season, and he lead them to 24-15 record with 11 conference wins over his 3 years...really sad he can't give a kid his due...dukluk wrote:I concede, Bobo beat State....ONLY ONCE....really pathetic that the bears want to cling to that one game to be his claim-to-fame....really sad.
Re: Go Bo Go
Are you sure Bobo was the starter, at the beginning of the 2012 season???....if so, I stand somewhat corrected.
Re: Go Bo Go
Bo has been the starter for 3 seasons. I assure you. excerpt from Ole Miss Sports page...dukluk wrote:Are you sure Bobo was the starter, at the beginning of the 2012 season???....if so, I stand somewhat corrected.
I think it's a shame his legacy is more remembered for what he didn't do, than what he did do...He's held to the standard of a 5 star Under Armour All-American...he wasn't and isn't an All-American draft choice, but he has been a solid stable QB and considering the team he stepped into in 2012, has done serviceable work. If he had taken over for a 7,8,9 win team and was expected to be a contender it'd be different. But he came on with a new coaching staff taking over a 2 win team that wasn't expecting to be bowl eligible until his senior year. He led them to 3 straight bowls and won a lot more games than he lost...he beat every team in his division at least once in his three years and he won 2 of 3 bowl games.2012: Conerly Trophy winner (top college football player in Mississippi) ... Named the No. 10 SEC Impact Newcomer by ESPN.com ... College Football News Sophomore All-America honorable mention ... The Rebels' starting QB for every game completed 235-of-368 passing attempts, racking up the second-most total yards (3,384), third-most passing yards (2,994) and fourth-most TD passes (22) in a single season in school history ...
Re: Go Bo Go
Okay, so do ya think Bo is nfl material, given his propensity for giving those good Bo/bad Bo performances???
Re: Go Bo Go
No...I don't...I figure he'll get a free agent deal and he have his shot to make a roster. Maybe he'll hang around as a #3 somewhere a year or two, scout team or something. I think that's likely best case for him.dukluk wrote:Okay, so do ya think Bo is nfl material, given his propensity for giving those good Bo/bad Bo performances???
Re: Go Bo Go
if anyone blames Bo for the performance in the Peach Bowl, they sure wasn't watching the same game I was ( or knows nothing about football) When a team can play 5 (and at times 6) D.B.'s and still be pressuring the QB before he can even set his feet, the QB is not going to have a great day. Our offensive line, due to injuries, played as bad as I have seen them in the 3 years Freeze has been there. Sitting at the game I can honestly say in my opinion TCU was the best football team the Rebels played this year.
Re: Go Bo Go
Well, I did see the same game, and I do know a little bit about football....and, in my opinion, UM lost to the 2nd best team in the country, behind Oregon....TCU is TOUGH & QUICK!!!
With that said, yes, UM had some chinks in their off. line....but, overcoming those chinks is what makes or breaks, both an off. coord. and a QB.
IMHO, even with a healthy UM off. line, TCU would still have dominated the game....they are just too strong and fast to be denied.
My dream game, this year, would have been TCU vs. Ore. for the NC.

Re: Go Bo Go
Chinks in their Offensive line - 4 of the 6 that played in Peach Bowl are having surgery today. With 1 starter already having surgery. I'll say they had chinks!!!!
Re: Go Bo Go
This late in the season, every team has it's injuries.
