Gunsmith referral

Postby Hambone » Sun Jan 04, 2015 7:52 pm

Two important duck guns are malfunctioning and I'm in need of referrals to good gunsmiths in the Madison-Hinds-Rankin area. Thanks for any suggestions.

I would check with Dan Moulder, A.K.A Duckmen on here. He had posted on here a while back saying he had signed on with Frago Arms in Jackson. They had a web site the last time I looked which has been a while back. Dan has helped me with a shotgun a while back.

Billy Tierce. Dentville, MS. He picks up from several places around central MS or you can drive to his place.

SaltDogLLC in Brandon. John does really good work

Check with the Dan Moulder, he is a straight up guy. Tierce does good work. Swann takes 11 months per task. I don't know the other fellow mentioned above, but glad there is another option up that way.

Second for Mr. Billy Tierce. Reasonable, fairly quick turn around and overall one of the nicest folks you would ever want to meet!
