As long as it ain't a banjer.....
Re: This place is all but dead.....
I feel safer when I keep my mouth shut and don't post (insert sarcasm here and for the remainder of the post). This place is full of MDWFP haters, from shutting down WMAs to getting checked by a GW
"You guys" just can't be happy. It is safer to lurk than to explain that "The landowner of said WMA will have the final say as to if the WMA will remain open to hunting or not regardless if the MDWFP is managing it."
Great site made up by a great group of guys.

I haven’t posted to this forum in 4 years and thought would stop by to see what’s happening. I miss the banter and old crew…Dan, Benny, RIP EM, Don Miller, Bigwater, Wildfowler…the list goes on. We had some fun out here for sure. Anyway, those that didn’t have kids then do now and those that did then have seen theirs grow up. Time flies and it's hard to come by these days. I haven’t hunted ducks in three years. I deal more with horses these days. My in-laws are ranchers in the Black Hills in South Dakota. It’s a 13K acre spread full of monster Muleys and Whitetails but they are safe since the place is dedicated to Wild Mustangs – beautiful to see the horses, deer and other critters though. I dusted off the old Hambone and broke every shotgun I own down the other night and they are ready to run. I’ll hit it as soon as the weather turns… it’s -2 here in Colorado right now. Snow has every water hole frozen up like a margarita. I may head to Oklahoma in a couple of weeks too. Anyway, hope y’all are doing well in the Delta – I sure miss it back home. Happy New Year boys.

I think we need a Bigwater vs DIB Spoony calling contest discussion to get this thing moving.
