He said he had a bottle of 12yr and promised to sell it to me(not marked up). I couldnt get there fast enough. Due to the fire, theft, and demand, pretty much all Pappy has become almost unobtainable. I was lucky to get my hands on this for the holidays.

I love me some Jack Dainyells, but my cabinet has Buffalo Trace in it all the time. I do splash sprite, because that is what I like. When I want a short change of scenery, I get Eagle Rare or Four Roses Single Barrel. Both are similar but different to BT.

And that is my humble opinion and likes.

word on the street is that Pappy's "Lot B" was tainted with cat piss & ketchup. I bet that's somes nasty stuff! I'd like to try some just to see what all the fuss is about.

The ever elusive Pappy...that is like finding a 200" buck swimming through your duck hole as mallards are raining down from the heavens.

Seriously, after re-reading this thread, am I the only person who is getting real thirsty?

since 2011 my taste have changed somewhat as i've tried different things.

for all of you crown lovers, i've come to find Gibson's is really good. it's usually special order here in the states, at around 30 a fifth.
it's definitely my go to this duck season.

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
and THAT is a duck hunt.

That is a VERY, VERY good friend. You could sell that thing on ebay and buy a nice gun.

Lot of people asking these kinds of prices, and that is supposedly the black market value. However, I have not heard a certified account of a single bottle selling for close to that.
