It was a great weekend with family during Thanksgiving and with a couple of duck hunts with my two sons, brother, and some of his in-laws. My 9 YO shot his first duck on Friday and then his second one the following day so those, along with my 13 YO son bagging a couple of ducks, were the highlights of this weekend's hunting excursions. It was really great to watch my 9 YO bag these ducks with his .410 as the first duck was dropped at about 35 yards quartering away and the second duck was shot at about 30 yards almost straight up with a duck flying right over the blind. No water-swatting for that little guy, no sirree!

That is just too good. You made a memory to last two life times. His and yours.
An adventure is a disaster that fails to kill you.
