EGG BOWL 2014
Well it is that time of year again. No one thought these two teams would have had the type of seasons they have had up to this point. Ole Miss had some pre-season hype that soon turned into SEC Championship and National race type of talk after their defense showed it was one of the best in the nation. MSU fans may have had some high hopes before the season, but the Dogs were certainly flying under the radar. Both teams rose to the moment in several games to put the state atop the college football world. Ole Miss and Mississippi State have never been talked about and analyzed by so many. They had climbed their way to the top with players who knew you had to work hard everyday to win at this level and it surely looked like they had arrived. But still there was some reality in the back of people's minds. Some knew at some point this aurora of greatness was bound to break. It did so about 2/3 into the season. The Bulldogs struggled some with teams that we all thought they should handle. Ole Miss loses a fist fight in Baton Rouge and then their star player + the game to Auburn. Bama stripped the Dogs of #1 ranking as MSU played with some lack of confidence on whether they belonged. The Rebels seem to be in a tail spin now as the Hogs took them to the woodshed Saturday afternoon. Miss State on the other hand seemed to find a little confidence in the latter part of the Tide game and tried their best to make a point to the playoff committee by shelling Vandy last Saturday night. So there it is in a nutshell...the 2014 regular season up to this point. All arrows point towards MSU tripping but not falling yet and that the Rebels are done in......BUT we all know this is the Egg Bowl. Records do not matter. Important players injured or out of the contest do not mean as much. This is Egg Bowl Week. If you are a player and you have any vineager in your piss at all then you get yourself up for this game. Odds are out and UM is a 1 point favorite. Seems as if Vegas knows this is always a pick 'em game. So what do you see unfolding??? Who will be the victor and who will now lose a game that will put a big black eye on all that was accomplished in 2014???
Are we gonna get wet?

Re: EGG BOWL 2014
I havent seen the OM -1 line yet. I see MSU at -1.5. Game is a toss up.
Ole Miss, even though LSU is their real rival, has nothing to lose at this point and I look for them to try their best to knock off the dogs.
The dogs have something to prove and make calls that show the committee they should be in the top 4.
Should be slugfest. That being said, It's Shark Week!
