SEC West tie breaker?
If Auburn beats Alabama, Alabama and Ole Miss beat Miss St. and Ole Miss wins out, there are 4 teams with 2 losses.
Who goes to Atlanta?

Re: SEC West tie breaker?

Re: SEC West tie breaker?
It would first come down to the toughest in-conference opponents from the SEC east, since OM and State both play Vandy which pretty well kicks them out. Bama played Florida and TN, while AU has GA and SC, so it would probably go to AU. However if it were still a tie then it goes to the Non conference opponents in which AU would likely get the nod because of playing KState. Then Bama because of WVA, OM and State would lose out again because of weak non conf opponents.
However I think if State can win 2/3 then they will go. I think AU has one more big win in them this year.

Re: SEC West tie breaker?
Mike, I think auburn would go in your scenario. They would have the head to head over ole miss, ole miss would have the head to head over state and alabama, but alabama would have the head to head over auburn. As an ole miss fan, I hope that exact scenario plays out in addition to auburn losing to Georgia. Should be a fun end to the season.
Re: SEC West tie breaker?
in that scenario auburn goes.
aub would be 2-1 vs the tied opponets.

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day

I'm not sure that chart is entirely correct, but it's a neat way to look at it.eSJay wrote:have yall seen the flow chart that depicts the road to the ATL?

It says if UA beats MSU and MSU beats UM, then MSU wins west, but that's only true if UA loses another game. The chart missed that part.

that loss is on there. chart says when AU beats UA, MSU goes (if they beat UM) even though they lose to UA.
MSU controls the destiny.

I'd rather MSU just win out and simplify the equation.

Re: SEC West tie breaker?
Way I see it not gonna be a need for a tiebreaker. State should win at least 2 of the next three. Even if we loose to Bama Auburn should take them out of the picture. Ole piss is done. Stick a fork in them. They to busy worrying about 12 men on the field, how the officiating is always stacked against them, and how their best player got injured. I too am worried about our pass defense. Been worried about it all year but they seem to find a way to win and that's what counts! No team in history has ever gone from unranked to No 1 in the country in 6 weeks before. No team in history has ever BEATEN 3 top 10 teams in a row before either. We've been on the bottom or at mediocracy for so long we due! So if you think we boasting a little/ Why hell yes! It's our time! I just hope it comes to frutition! Id sure love to go to the Rose Bowl just once in my lifetime!
