Did anyone ever find out for sure if d.u and usfws were feeding the ducks in MO. and other states to hold the ducks up there? I am going to Email trett lott and see if he or his office will respond to the question. If I do get a response I will post what it says. Is anyone a member of Delta Ducks if so would you please tell me if what kind of organization they are from a memebers stand point. I feel d.u has become just another corporation and doesnt want to do much for us in the south. All I know is somthing is going on because even in the mid and late nineties when we had el-nino and a mild winters to deal with we still had more ducks than we have had this year. THE GAME AND FISH OF THAT AREA HAS ALWAYS
BUT GRAIN OUT FOR THE WATERFOWL..D.U. IS
NOT INVOLED WITH GAME AND FISH MONEYS.
THIS IS PRIMARILY DONE FOR THE GEESE, NOT
DUCKS, BUT ITS OBVIOUS THAT THE DUCKS TAKE
ADVANTAGE OF THIS.

THEY DO IT JUST LIKE FEEDING THE ELK OUT WEST, WHEN THE SNOW AND ICE COVERS THE NORMAL FOOD PLOTS UP, THEY WILL TAKE THEIR RESERVE GRAINS THAT'S HARVESTED AND DUMP IT
OUT THERE. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THE LATE 1970'S.
