Re: Auburn vs. Ole Miss
All joking aside, I'd put myself in the 80th percentile of Bulldog fans that hate Ole Miss. Not crazy/psycho hate, just love to see them lose and I'll go about my day.
This was the first time I can remember that I wished UM won the ballgame after all was said and done. Wait, no, I wish Treadwell had scored and Auburn had thrown a hail mary to win it. That kid turned loose of the ball inches from the goal line because his ankle snapped. The first moments of his season ending injury he was at least comforted by the fact that he put his team on top. Then as he was secured to the stretcher they announced he fumbled the ball.
I got nothing for UM fans or the school in general, but those guys gave it all they had. Hoping Treadwell recovers well, comes back full strength next year, and goes high in the draft.

Re: Auburn vs. Ole Miss
I could not have said it better. Treadwell seems like a good kid. You never hear anything but good things about him and he always plays every play, not like the 5 star diva that some players become when they get the kind of publicity he has gotten. I hope he recovers and has a long successful career in the pros.... Who knows time will tell.Smoke68 wrote:All joking aside, I'd put myself in the 80th percentile of Bulldog fans that hate Ole Miss. Re: Auburn vs. Ole Miss
At first I could not imagine how this could make it past the editor. Then I learned that the editor of the Opelika Auburn paper is Patrick Johnston, a 1999 graduate of the University of Alabama. This explains the classlessness.RedEyed Duck wrote:Stay classy Auburn... I know it's the Opelika paper and not the city of Auburn, but dang
Supposedly he has since apologized and said he was showing the play that resulted in the fumble & not the injury. I've yet to talk to an AUburn fan that is happy about this young man's injury, just gumps trying to make people think that way.

That most definitely sheds a new light on he subject. I should have done some research before I posted. I guess he achieved the knee jerk reaction out of me that he was looking for in this caseeSJay wrote:At first I could not imagine how this could make it past the editor. I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

ball still in possession in the pic on front page...explanation doesn't cut the mustard...another frame or two later and it may hold water...

Bravo!
Seriously, do you know how friggin ignorant that statement is? Typical paranoid Auburn mentality. Sure thing, its Alabama's fault this was in the paper. You're a rube.
Re: Auburn vs. Ole Miss
I don't recall blaming the Tards for it being in the paper Webbie. Simply stating a fact the editor is a graduate UA. No reason to be defensive unless you got something you want to tell us.
