ANY REPORTS FROM SLEDGE AREA??

WE ARE GOING TO SLEDGE (NEAR TUNICA) NEXT WEEK. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY REPORTS FROM THE AREA? THE GUIDES SAY THERE ARE LOTS OF DUCKS BUT LOTS OF WATER ALSO AND THAT THE DUCKS ARE KIND OF SPREAD OUT. ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Saw some guys goose hunting northwest of Sledge this afternoon. They were riding the roads with a spoting scope and a small caliber rifle. Said they were hunting only neck banded geese.

DO YOU COMMONLY HUNT THIS AREA? IF SO, HOW WOULD YOU RATE THE HUNTING?

I have hunted the area for the last four years and really like it. This year has not been very special. Some of the local folks are really shooting geese for neckbands. Expensive leases if you can find an opening.
