I agree blueridge guitars are very nice playing instruments. You can also try to find an old sigma guitar. They can be had on the cheap and play close to a martin.

Also keep in mind...would she a prefer a country style with steel strings or would she prefer a classical style with nylon strings...good luck cuz :wink:
