Ole Miss will get dominated in this game... Mark my words and come back to this thread when the game is over so I can say "I told you so" after all the OM smack talking...

I think their whole season resides on this. Their defense is good enough to keep them in any game. They are scary good. No offense wants a piece of them. As good as their defense is, their offense is lacking at one element, running the football. The first time a team exploits this and Bo has a bad day it's going to be challenging for them to come out with a W.
I agree with you, I think you are right...except, couple of teams have more or less exploited the lack of running game...we've had 3 of 5 games played with less than 100 yards on ground and still won all but the Bama game by 3+ scores. I get the principle of your statement and in theory it's 100% true, except Ole Miss has so far this season won with no running game, including against Bama. That challenges the idea, how much running game does this offense need to be effective???...I mean they had 72 total rushing yards and only 2.3 per rush against Alabama and scored 23 points, and left at least 10 on the field that were lost at no effect of the running game. and that's happened in 3 of their 5 games...so it feels like that's gonna get em, but are they as effective as they wanna be? Seems be working thusfar...
I agree with you. They seem to do fine w/o the running game, but the four games before Bama were non conference games and Vandy where you could afford two or three turnovers and come out with a W. In the Boise and Memphis games he had long stretches where he was more than just a little off his game, and hurt the team far more than he helped them. Wallace played a flawless game against Bama, but that has been the exception more than the rule. The point I was making in my post that as a result of the lack of a running game, it gives Wallace more opportunities to hit a rotten streak like he is prone to do and if he does it against a descent SEC team they will be lucky to get a W.

To be fair I think it's the same principle as States secondary... They are gonna have a bad game or part of a game again this season sooner or later and I just hope those occurrences aren't bad enough to ruin a great start to a season... No different with Bo.

Nope and I don't mind admitting I was wrong. Rebs dominated this game; they didn't even need the TAMU mistakes. They are a lot better than I thought they were.

I'm back at this thread...waiting for you
Your wait is over, Im man enough to come back I assure you... Although I didn't really want to!! I don't mind saying that the Ole Miss defense is better than I gave them credit for, and I'll also say that A&M is obviously not the team I/everyone else thought they were either, definitely overrated. Good win for the Rebels, I mean bears, congrats to them.

Would like to get your picks next weekend as well. You seem to be good at it.
