Cree 20" LED bar installed
All I say is 'wow'......this throws a beam! Excellent addition to the JD. Next up, my Ranger.

Looks good and I'm sure will serve its purpose. Now you need one for the back and sides! I just installed at 12" on the bow of my boat and plan to do the same for the ranger.

Yeah, it has a 'alternate light' splitter. Thought about a 2"X4" as a backup light.........

What's the cost of these?
Re: Cree 20" LED bar installed
With that you can just do all your disking and planting at night when it is cooler.
How did you wire it? Directly to the battery or through the tractor electrical?

Approx $65 for light and wiring harness. Wiring comes with a relay that I tapped into the head lights. It has a switch that I mounted on the dash. If you wire straight to the battery, the switch constantly pulls power. The draw is less than my headlights........

Sorry to keep asking questions but I may try this. Can you turn on the led lights without turning on the head lights?skywalker wrote:Approx $65 for light and wiring harness. No, lights have to be on to activate the switch. Push ON, OFF for LED.

If you dont tap into the headlight wire, you can wire a 30amp switch and use how you want to. Thats what I did. They dont draw a lot of power.
Re: Cree 20" LED bar installed
I have had 2 standard K/C style light on my roll bar for several yrs. I tied mine in to the hi beam so if I can run with just the tractor lights on low beam or go to high beam and get roll bar lights too. Mine also has a quick connect at the light so I can un-plug either the front or the back lght if I want too.

21" for my ranger came in today. Waiting on the other 2x4 kit to come in for side and rear lights before I start installing and wiring.

Are you putting in a relayed switch setup, or just hot from the battery to the switch?Tedl10 wrote:21" for my ranger came in today. Waiting on the other 2x4 kit to come in for side and rear lights before I start installing and wiring.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)
