I just got on the board and saw this. My jaw dropped. I too never met him in person but messaged back and forth on DU matters and the like. GREAT guy who will be missed by us here on the board and by MS DU as well. R.I.P., Mike. Prayers go out to his family and friends.

Prayers sent to his family and friends. You can't take any day for granted and you have to focus on what is truly important in life (which I rarely do it seems).

We all have our day coming and any one of us could be the next guy to have a RIP thread on this board - think about that for a second - and get right with the Lord if you have not.

This is shocking to say the least. I met MSB once and it was him, his son, Jeff A, GH22, and I fishing with Jeff in Venice. Wow, I'm speechless.

Aw, man! I talked to him twice last week. He was trying to help me find a new camp. I remember meeting him and Jr. at the get together at the Outing Club way back and shooting clays with them. Another of the old msduckers gone to his reward. Makes me feel old!

Olive Branch - Michael Bruce Fuller, I., 52, of Olive Branch, MS., went home to be with his Lord on September 3, 2014. He was born February, 3, 1962 in West Monroe, LA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Elizabeth Frost. Michael was a financial advisor with Shoemaker Financial for over 20 years. He was an avid outdoors man and dedicated volunteer, giving countless hours to: FedEx/St. Jude Golf Tournament, Regional Director for Ducks Unlimited, Olive Branch Youth Football and Cheerleading League. He was also a member of LaBelle Haven Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marie Davis Fuller, daughter, Shelby Marie Fuller, son Michael Bruce Fuller II., father Elath Fuller, brothers, Patrick, Paul, and Stephen Fuller as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering of friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, September 5 at Brantley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 6 at LaBelle Haven Baptist Church with burial to follow at Autumn Woods Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made in Michael’s name to LaBelle Haven Baptist Church 4800 Hwy 305 N, Olive Branch, MS 38654.
