Ask DS. Anyone replaced the screen on an iPad?
Daughter dropped hers and broke it. I've heard that is not that big a deal to replace. Anyone had any luck or experience with it?
Your resident mortgage loan officer. You've got a friend in the business. http://www.adamblack.net

My son did the same thing with his. I think it's just the luck of the draw. Before he dropped it, it worked fine. Got the screen replace and the back button quite working. Got that fixed and now there's something else wrong with it. I've got to take it back to get fixed before school starts because he has to have it.

Fixed my wife's Ipad 2 about a year ago. Watch one of the YouTube video How to's. Order the screen and the tools and its nothing to it. It's held together with double sided tape!! Costs about $50-75 to DIY.

Be very careful when removing the old screen there are a few ribbon cables that can be torn pretty easy and are defiantly a pain to replace.

I replaced one. It is a pain in the rear. It took me about 2 hours. The tools and screen was only about $40 from amazon. Just got to be careful around the ribbons. Look on you tube for how to videos.
