I will vouch for ole goosey's dedication.He and I drove for six hours in Arkie looking for ducks. Used a whole tank of gas in his big ole muddy pickup. Found em west of Crowley's Ridge. Stacked like cord wood in any open water. Got back to our holes in Earle and guess what??? Still no ducks!!! Man we did see a buncha ducks and geese today!!! Specks in every field.

hell a of a dog trainer. I simply stated in my first topic that at least being in a blind on New Years Eve was better than being at work which is were I was. Thats when Bruce jumped down my ass as if I had kicked his dog and then proceeded to called me a "topwater". I'm as sick as anyone else is about this years poor season!

I couldnt for the life of me see why you got pissed off, but I guess you took it personal, when it werent that way. Might have been true from what ya said, but thats beside the point, I didnt and couldnt have known dat. Anyhow, i wanted you to know dat, and Im planning on going back to work early monday, just so I can say that truely, a bad day in a duck blind isnt any better than a day at work, that I could use that day off later in the spring to go run dawgs... Hey Gulf, got two drake mallards at the Peabobdy with a pellet pistol.... took them to Fridays and had them grilled....along with a salad and tea..... good eatin......

Goose thanks for going back and reading that.
I guess I was having a bad day and duck season! All kind of came to a head when I felt like some one was calling me a Topwater.
