Tranasplanting trees

Postby oldriverhunter » Sun Jun 01, 2014 8:07 pm

I have a few trees that I would love to move this winter. Do you know of any tree transplanting services or possibly a rental spade. I am hesitant to start root pruining without the ability of moving them. Can this be done with an excavator? I would love to tap into yalls experience on this matter. By the way red oak, pin oak are the type, most would be moved less than a 100 feet.
