Jackson Actually Elected A Decent Mayor Last Night
Not that is really changes the direction of the city in a positive way, but it certainly should slow the decline a little when the alternative was having the cronies that ruined Detroit moving to town to further ruin Jackson.

Who'd they pick?
At times there is not a satisfactory substitute for well-aimed lead going down range at high velocity.

Tony Yarber. The Rankin County Republican "House Ninja" the thungs would have you believe. He wasnt backed by Bennie Thompson, the Stokes, or Precious Matin. Must not be a thug!

While he had to run as a Democrat, Yarber is apparently a conservative, Christian. He doesn't have a lot to work with in Jackson by way of finance with a leaving tax base, and the Ken Stokes of the world certainly will not go away easy, but this is a positive for a city that has seen nothing but negatives for years.
